In 2017, Gina and Gregg Hoffman brought WWOO: Concrete Outdoor Kitchens from the Netherlands to the U.S., introducing sleek, modern, and durable outdoor kitchens crafted right here in El Segundo. At first, they manufactured in a modest warehouse space on Bungalow street, but in 2021, they moved operations a few blocks west to Penn Street.

With Gregg’s background in landscape design, a new idea began to take root: WWOO: The Venue. Over time, and through a true labor of love, the venue started to bloom. Their oldest daughter, Mary, celebrated her bridal shower in the space, and soon their second oldest, Julia, dreamed of having her wedding there.

By winter 2023, Gregg got to work expanding the warehouse to make Julia’s vision a reality. Her wedding remains the largest event hosted at WWOO, with over 200 guests filling the space with laughter, love, and memories. And today, we still manufacture those same outdoor kitchens right here in the warehouse—and ship them nationwide. That’s what we call spreading the love.
